Come one, come all to the GDA Carnival! Bring your family and friends to join in the fun at the GDA Family Carnival on May 10th from 4 pm – 9 pm!

As you step into the carnival grounds, get ready to immerse yourself in a day filled with laughter and excitement. Challenge your skills at the various carnival games, take a thrilling plunge in the Dunk Tank, or engage in an epic Laser Tag battle with your buddies. If you’re up for a bouncy adventure, the inflatables section is the place to be!

Capture wonderful memories at the Photo Booth, and don’t miss the chance to meet the amazing Redemption Ranch Therapy Horses. Treat your sweet tooth at the Dessert Walk, and perhaps snag some fantastic deals at the Silent Auction. Feeling brave? Spin the Wheel Unfortunate for a chance to win a prize!

There’s something for everyone at the GDA Family Carnival, so mark your calendars and get ready for a day of non-stop fun. See you there!

2024 School Carnival FAQs

Q: How do I get my pre-sale tickets and bonus tickets?

A: All pre-sold and bonus tickets will be available for pickup a by last name when you arrive at the carnival.

Q: Will individual tickets be available for sale during the event?

A: Yes! There will be two ticket booths available the evenings of the carnival. Tickets can be purchased at the carnival for $1 a ticket but there will be no bonus tickets available.

Q: Do I have to purchase tickets or can I use cash instead?

A: All the carnival stations including laser tag, face painting, and concessions will require tickets! No cash will be accepted at the individual stations or concessions.

Q: Will concessions be available?

A: Yes! Concessions will be available for purchase with the tickets. We will have hot dog meals, hamburger meals, popcorn, cotton candy, fountain soda (Coke, Diet Coke, Dr. Pepper & Sprite), and bottled water. Concessions will range from 1 to 3 tickets and meals cost will range from 5 to 7 tickets.

Q: How long will the carnival last?

A: The carnival will be on Friday, May 10 from 4-9 PM. Families are welcome to come and go during the carnival.

Q: What types of carnival games will be at the event?

A: Think traditional old-fashioned carnival like Disk Drop, Classic Ring Toss, Duck Pond, Milk Bottle Toss, Dunk Tunk, Football Toss, Temporary Tatoos, Fishing Game, Soda Ring Toss, Inflatables, Wild West Shoot Out, Laser Tag, and a Dessert Walk.

Q: How many tickets will each station require?

A: Most stations will be 1-3 tickets each, which the exception of Laser tag (10-minute sessions) at 5 tickets each. We will have free stations as well like the photo booth and corn hole.

Q: Will there be additional activities in addition to the carnival games and concessions?

A: Yes. We will have a 50/50 raffle (sum collected will be split between one lucky winner and GDA) as well a silent auction for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year. Silent auction may include the following: Front Row Seats to GDA programs, Principal for the Day, No Uniform Days for your child’s Class, Ice Cream/Pizza Party for your child’s class, etc.

NEW to the silent auction items this year includes a one night getaway at The Ozaker Lodge, free tickets to 2 Tickets to Aquarium at the Boardwalk in Branson, 2 All Access Tickets to Wonderworks in Branson, 2 Tickets to Queen Esther at Sight and Sound Theater and more!

Q:  Are tickets refundable?

Q:  In the event of rain will the carnival be cancelled or postponed?

A: The carnival will occur rain or shine!

Q:  Is this event only open to GDA families?

A: Friends and family of the GDA community are invited to attend.
