Preparing hearts and minds for Christian excellence.
GDA kids learn through the proven Christian classical approach to become strong thinkers who stand for truth.
Gloria Deo Academy seeks to train Christian youth to glorify God by recovering the legacy of the Western Civilization. The academy respects the historic Christian faith and approaches each subject with a Biblical worldview. The academic program is designed to develop the student through classical Christian learning in the knowledge (grammar), understanding (logic, dialectic or reasoning), and wisdom (rhetoric) of each subject with increasing sophistication as age, grade level, and ability rise. Classical elements such as Latin, logic, and rhetoric, as well as good and great books are provided not only as formal classes but also are integrated across the curriculum.
Kid Tested, Parent Approved
“Gloria Deo Academy has been a safe-haven for our family. They have, and continue, to take our kiddo’s needs into account and work closely with us to create long-term growth, reach goals, and foster a love of learning and wonder in our kids.”
“GDA has given us so much flexibility with our time, allowing us the opportunity to travel and grow as a family. Our kids are challenged academically and are being taught TRUTH. They are cared for, prayed for, and loved by their teachers. Their spiritual growth is as important as their academics.”
“Two of my kids are fairly shy. They stay fairly quiet around other people, even when engaged. After a few years at GDA, I’ve noticed them feel more comfortable around adults and they do so much better communicating in public!”
GDA is a member of MSHSAA and offers a variety of sports including: Baseball, Track and Field, Archery, Bass Fishing, Volleyball, Basketball, Golf, & Cross Country. In addition, GDA is extremely competitive in Speech & Debate producing MSHSAA state champions and national qualifiers.
GDA is more affordable than most private schools. Payments can be spread throughout the year and the university style helps keep uniforms, lunches, books, and other costs low.

After certain grade levels, kids are expected to work more on their own at home. This teaches them very important life skills. They learn to take control of their education, manage their schedule, and meet the requirements expected of them.
Gloria Deo Academy is the perfect fit for all kids. We’ve found that the Christian environment and expectations dissolves nearly all issues related to behavior, bullying, and drama.
We can’t promise you that Gloria Deo Academy will work where other attempts failed. But commited parents will find guidance and partnership from the school faculty and staff as well as fellow parents.
A core foundation of Gloria Deo Academy is collaboration and partnership. Parents are not expected to become experts on every subject. Instead, parents manage learning-at-home by letting their child take control of their own education and guiding them through the process.
Additionally, many parents build relationships with other parents so their kids can collaborate in learning with each other as well.
Yes! In order to attend and maintain enrollment at GDA, regular church attendance and involvement is required for both the parents and students.

appointment is scheduled. - Arrive about 10 minutes early, so your student has time to relax and use the restroom if needed.
- There is no testing fee.
- The student will be tested by one of the school’s test administrators.
- Parents will wait outside the classroom.
- The screening should take about 20 minutes
- The test administrator will communicate the screening results immediately following the screening.
Expectations After the Screening Day
- If the student passed the screening, GDA will see what seats are available and communicate that with you via email.
- If the student did not pass, GDA will attempt to schedule a retesting day before April.
- Once the student has passed the screening, and there is confirmation of an open seat (at the agreed upon campus), the next step for prospective families will be to schedule a family interview. GDA will reach out to your family to schedule this meeting. We require the father, mother, and student applying to attend the family interview.
- At the family interview, further information about the school will be presented. The administer and prospective family will seek to determine if a partnership with GDA would be a good fit for both parties. If the school agrees that GDA will be a good fit for the family, an enrollment invitation will be emailed to the family by the principal who conducted the interview.
The Future is Bright!
At GDA, your kids can learn to take control of their education. See them make an impact on our community for the glory of God.
You want the best education for your kids.
But sometimes you wonder…
-
what are they learning?
-
are they being challenged?
-
do the new educational fads work?
-
will they face bullying or drama?
-
are they growing?
-
will they reach their full potential?
