The State of Missouri has created a new $6,375 scholarship program for low-to-middle income families or students with a learning plan looking to make the move to private education called the MOScholars K-12 Scholarship Program. The main scholarship qualifiers are:
Families who live in Springfield or Joplin
Students who have attended a public school for at least a semester during the previous year or a child entering Kindergarten or first grade
Families whose household income qualifies them for up to 200% of the free lunch program $102,646 for a family of 4)
