For March, we are challenging your students to read as many books as they can! The reading challenge is open to all GDA Joplin K-9 students.
Your student should receive a Read-A-Log sent home from school soon. As they read books, we ask that you fill out the log and once it is full have your student return it to school to get another one. The more books you read the better your chances of winning a prize!
Dates: March 1st – 31st
Participants: Upper and lower grades can all participate, both upper and lower grade winners with prizes for 1st and 2nd place.
How To Participate: Record everything you read excluding schoolwork on the provided sheets. Have a parent of a guardian sign off on your sheets. Lower grade students (K-3) will calculate time spent reading and upper grade students (4-9) will calculate the number of pages read. Turn them by April 1st and we will announce winners!
Turn In Your Reading List: Lower and upper grade students can turn Read-A-Logs in to their teachers
