Gloria Deo Academy GDA partners with local universities to provide quality dual enrollment opportunities for Upper School (High School, grades 9-12) students.

Gloria Deo Academy strives to educate the whole student in order to graduate young men and women who will use their God-given strengths and talents to live lives of significance for the glory of God. One way GDA accomplishes this vision is by partnering with local universities to provide quality dual enrollment opportunities for Upper School students.

GDA is proud to partner with Drury University, Evangel University and Ozarks Technical Community College. 

  • GDA students attending the Ozarks Technical Community College Career Center earn college credit at no cost to them. Participating students can earn an average of 40 free college credit hours in career specialized training programs. Considering a cost of $117/hour per credit hour for traditional programs at OTC, participating GDA students saved a total of $4,797 during the Fall 2021 semester and earned 41 credit hours.

  • Evangel University dual credit is $65 per credit hour for GDA students. Considering a cost of $1,050 per credit hour for traditional undergraduate programs at Evangel University, participating GDA students saved a total of $41,370 and earned 42 credit hours during the Fall 2021 semester through dual credit courses taken onsite at GDA, on the Evangel campus, as well as online.

  • Drury University dual credit is $70 per credit hour for GDA students. Considering a cost of $1,046 per credit hour for traditional undergraduate programs at Drury University, participating GDA students saved a total of $87,840 and earned 90 credit hours during the Fall 2021 semester through dual credit courses taken onsite at GDA and online.

  • GDA juniors and seniors may participate in the A+ Program.

  • Upper School Guidance Counselor provides weekly help for parents and students with college, scholarship, FAFSA applications, and deadlines.

  • An ACT prep class is part of the high school curriculum.

Evangel University

Evangel University is pleased to partner with Gloria Deo Academy to expand access and reduce the cost of Christ-centered higher education. GDA juniors and seniors can get ahead on college with affordable on-site and online dual enrollment options, and GDA graduates qualify for scholarships and discounts guaranteed to cover 50% of tuition for any of Evangel’s 70+ on-campus programs.

Ozark Technical College (OTC)

Ozarks Technical Community College provides several unique opportunities to high school students to get a head start on their future. Through various programs, high school students can earn college credit, build career and technical education skills all while saving time, saving money and getting a jump-start on their degree.

Drury University

Drury University’s Dual Credit program allows high school students to take classes during regular school hours or online.
