GDA high school families,

In April of 2023 I led an EF tour to Spain with some of our GDA students.  It was such a wonderful experience for all!  We were there for 10 days and learned so many things about Spain and the Spanish culture.  The company we went through was EF Tours.  It was GDA students, but technically we went through this company.  I would love to present another tour opportunity for GDA students.  I do want to be clear that this will cost GDA nothing.  The cost of a trip through EF Tours is the sole responsibility of the the students/families who choose to go.

When we first started these trips, we let everyone know we would do an tour every other year in order to give every high schooler 2 opportunities to go. Right now I would  love to have an interest meeting for any students/families who would potentially be interested in going on an international trip sometime in 2025.  This would be open to any high school age student and any parents. You do not have to be in Spanish class to be eligible.  This meeting will be held Thursday, September 19th at 5:30pm in the sanctuary.  If you cannot make the meeting, but still would be interested, please reach out to me through email mpopovich@gloriadeoacademy.org sometime before the meeting.  At the meeting we will be discussing potential trips, time frames, cost, and I will also share some of what we did in Spain.  I can’t wait to share with you another great learning opportunity!
