Old Fashioned GDA Carnival FAQs
Q: How do I get my pre-sale tickets and bonus tickets?ย
A: All pre-sale and bonus tickets will be available for pickup a by last name when you arrive at the carnival. ย Pre-sale ticket ordering is officially closed.

Q: Will individual tickets be available for sale during the event?ย
A: Yes! There will be two ticket booths available the evenings of the carnival.ย Tickets can be purchased at the carnival for $1 a ticket but there will be no bonus tickets available. ย
Q: Do I have to purchase tickets, or can I use cash instead?
A: All the carnival stations including laser tag, face painting, and concessions will require tickets! No cash will be accepted at the individual stations or concessions.ย
Q: Will concessions be available?ย
A: Yes! Concessions will be available for purchase with yourย tickets. We will have corn dogs, hot dogs (chili and nacho cheese available to add as well), nachos, Frito pie (Fritos, chili, cheese), cookies, cotton candy, popcorn, fountain soda (Coke, Diet Coke, Dr. Pepper & Sprite), and bottled water. ย Concessionsย items will range from 1ย to 3 tickets.ย
Q: How long will the carnival last?ย
A: The carnival will be on Monday, May 1 from 5 PM- 8 PM and Tuesday, May 2 from 5 PM – 8 PM. Families are welcome to come and go during the carnival.ย
Q: Which night of the carnival should I attend?ย
A: Families can attend whichever night fits with their schedule best and are welcome to come both nights! ย
Q: What types of carnival games will be at the event?ย
A: Think traditional old-fashioned carnival like Disk Drop, Classic Ring Toss, Duck Pond, Bean Bag Toss, Milk Bottle Toss, Bucketball, Dunk Tunk, Golf- Hole-in-one, Football Toss, Pin the Nose on the Clown, Temporary Tatoos, Fishing Game, Lollipop Tree, Soda Ring Toss, Inflatable Slide, Inflatable Obstacle Course, Wild West Shoot Out, and a Cake Walk.ย
Q: How many tickets will each station require?ย
A: There will be about 15+ stations for 1 ticket and about 5ย stations for 2 tickets each. Laser Tagย (10-minute sessions) and Face Painting by Brightening Artworks will be 5 tickets each.ย
Q: Will there beย activities in addition to the carnival games and concessions?ย
A: Yes. We will have a 50/50 raffle (sum collected will be split between one lucky winner and GDA) as wellย a silent auction for the upcoming 2023-2024 school year. Silent auction may include the following: Principal for a Day, Chick-fil-a Lunch with a Teacher, No Uniform Day, Front Row Seats to GDA programs, etc.ย
Q: Are tickets refundable?
A: All ticket sales are non-refundable. 100% of the proceeds from the carnival will go to the GDA building campaign. If you are unable to attend, please post your tickets for sale on the GDA Used Uniform and Curriculum page.
Q: In the event of rain will the carnival be cancelled or postponed?
A: The carnival will occur rain or shine!
Q: Is this event only open to GDA families?
A: Friends and family of the GDA community are invited to attend.
