Audition Information for the Lower Grade Students
What you need to know for auditions:
1. The auditions will be from 4-5 pm on Monday, August 22 and Thursday, August 25 at the Golden Campus.
2. Use the signup links below to:
A. complete the audition form.
B. complete the contract.
C. choose an audition time.
3. Have your child present at least 15 minutes before their audition time. Choose the day that works best for you.
4. Students that audition should:
A. read through the monologues linked below.
B. choose one of the monologues for their audition.
C. memorize the monologue.
D. practice the monologue in character
E. perform your memorized monologue at your audition.
-Note that the part you choose to audition for may not be how we choose to cast you in the play.

Gloria Deo Academy presents The Girl with the Golden Locks (produced by special arrangement with Pioneer Drama Service, Inc., Englewood, Colorado)! Performances will be Thursday, October 10 at 6:30 pm and Friday, October 11 at 6:30 pm and Saturday, October 12 at 6:30 pm at Gloria Deo Academy (West Building Auditorium) located at 3146 S Golden Ave Springfield, MO 65807.
Enter the world of fairy-tale espionage and intrigue, where top-level spies take on the kingdom’s worst criminal masterminds. Agent Gold is the girl with the golden locks and the top agent at the FBI, that is, the Fairytale Bureau of Intelligence. Her partners are a pair of sisters — Rose Red, who is known as Agent Red, and rookie agent Snow White. With a little help from Agent Wolf, who serves as her “mole,” Agent Gold takes on the biggest mission of her life. She must save the kingdom from public enemy number one, the Three Bears, who have recently acquired a C.O.W. from a boy named Jack and plan to destroy the entire kingdom with it! Facing dwarves and witches, porridge and magic beans, giants and double-agents, Agent Gold and her crack team will have their work cut out for them as they race to stay one step ahead of the bears to save the kingdom.
